JOB DROP information

Air Force Service Code (AFSC)

Sometime during second semester, Cadet 2nd Class (Juniors) will find out their AFSC (Air Force Service Code)!  Months earlier, they have submitted their top 3 rated jobs (pilot being the most requested) and top 3 non-rated jobs (Intel is the most requested).  Ultimately though, “needs of the Air Force” always takes precedence. So, while there will be many happy cadets, there may also be some disappointed.

For parents, the number one question they have when they hear what job their Cadet received is, "What is my kid's job?" Click here to learn what the Commissioning Code they used, stands for.
